Make draft thumbnails and queued images open the shared image viewer without parsing. Keep queued attachment menus read-only and remove OCR source and settings entries while preserving explicit text extraction in drafts.
Validation: 14 focused tests, typecheck and lint passed. Full suite: 5534 passed, 3 failures outside this change in conversation scrolling and frosted-glass descriptions.

Remove repeated document names from action labels, shorten the reparse label, and narrow knowledge menus to 220px while preserving other menu widths and viewport bounds. Keep object context on menu triggers and removal confirmations.

Restore URL identity in merged rows and replace crowded document actions with a primary entry and accessible menu. Organize preview navigation and maintenance actions, and show task history as batches with matching counts and filters.
Keep preview task scope consistent for multi-document sources and track pending operations independently so one source does not block another source's pause action. Include responsive Electron layout and behavioral regressions, bilingual copy, and design documentation.
Validation: focused regressions, typecheck, lint, and diff checks passed. Electron fixtures cover light/dark and wide/narrow layouts. Full tests reported two previously known HeartbeatCenter assertions; real import and parsing integration was not rerun.

Parsing test menus and application notifications could appear behind modal overlays or become unreachable while the background was inert. Share a stable top-layer portal that belongs to the owning or active modal, preserving notification timers, keyboard navigation and focus restoration.
Add unit and Electron regression coverage for settings, nested parsing results, application center, inference monitoring and native dialogs, with matching UI guidance and validation evidence.
Validation recorded in the preceding implementation: 4,793 tests passed and 67 skipped; typecheck, lint, isolated production build and Electron UI checks passed. Staged diff whitespace checks passed before this commit.

Add HTTP PaddleOCR-VL settings and shared document previews for chat and knowledge imports. Preserve attachment originals and parsed assets across drafts, messages and queues; support explicit image OCR, selecting document images into a conversation draft, and restoring queued input for editing.
Protect unsaved note bodies and titles during navigation and asynchronous updates. Match canvas analysis to source revisions, invalidate affected comments, preserve annotations during pagination, and provide a resizable record index with saved width preferences.
Existing OCR settings retain local behavior. Historical attachments without saved originals are not reconstructed. Advanced OCR options depend on the configured service; image sending depends on the effective model and Runtime.
Validation: full typecheck and lint passed; 477 focused tests passed across 12 files; staged whitespace checks passed. The full repository suite was not rerun for this commit.
