Remove Ask/Execute modes and general product tool approvals so requests use the selected runtime, enabled capabilities, and execution account permissions. Migrate retired application metadata while preserving user content.
Retire the Results page while retaining conversation images and stored artifacts. Add local and remote workspace file imports, timestamps and sorting, improve image discovery and saving, and refine workspace navigation and supervision responsiveness. Include the accompanying web-search changes, tests, probes, and product documentation.
Remote imports require an updated Agent. Existing artifacts are not automatically copied into project directories. Validation evidence and outstanding failures remain documented in feature progress files; no full test suite or real-model calls were rerun for this commit.
Release note: Run requests without switching work modes, import files into a selected local or remote workspace folder, sort workspace files by date, and keep using conversation images after removal of the Results page.
Replace the restricted workspace_rg parameter mapping with native args and optional cwd. Preserve rg output and exit codes, and reuse process cancellation and output_read pagination so large search results remain accessible. Ask remains read-only within the workspace; Execute uses current-account permissions.
Validation: focused regression 169 passed, 1 skipped; typecheck and lint passed. Real DeepSeek Ask and Execute pagination scenarios passed with six counted requests in the successful run; an earlier failed fixture run has no retained request count. Full-suite validation is not green: the recorded run had unrelated failures and the latest run timed out without a summary. The remote Agent does not use this local execution path.

Restore Ask workspace reads and output paging without granting write access,
and let programming Subagents reuse their parent's browser page. Allocate
browser resources only when used, keep Agent pages aligned with workbar tabs,
recover released bindings, and remove unused automatic screenshot work.
Preserve inherited Runtime selections during remote usage persistence and
manual compression. Keep viable channel model fallbacks, display the actual
scheduled-task mode and Harness model source, and avoid rediscovery delays
when calling healthy MCP tools. Fix directory/history refresh, case-only
renames, rename-aware commit diffs, and FastGPT probe success reporting.
Add regression coverage and align feature documentation. The Agent-side
connection timeout fix requires deploying an updated Agent; existing Ask
read-only and Execute authorization boundaries remain unchanged.
Final validation: 3839 tests passed, 66 skipped; typecheck, lint, development
build, and diff checks passed. Isolated Electron UI/MCP workflows passed with
a loopback model fixture. Current-source Linux x64 Host checks passed with
three successful real model requests. Chromium loadURL rejection was not
reproduced in the UI; released-binding recovery has automated coverage.

Preserve long histories and parsed attachments, expose paged process and Subagent output, isolate MCP discovery failures, and expand browser snapshots and knowledge result selection. Remove fixed Harness output and updated remote Runtime duration limits.
Keep released Agent profile and v1 bridge compatibility while enabling larger framed exchanges and optional limits for updated peers. Document remote coverage requirements and real-model boundary validation.
Release note: Long model tasks can retain more context and continue reading complete tool output; remote execution preserves compatibility with released Agents. Updated remote limits require an updated Agent and Runtime bundle.
Direct models now use bundled ripgrep for workspace discovery, read files through resumable pages, and edit multiple files with apply_patch. Ask can search and read while Execute retains write access, and fixed total input limits no longer constrain these tools.

Completed OpenCode requests left their event streams open across repeated and
parallel conversations. Each request now closes its own subscription on exit
without cancelling peer sessions, and cancellation preserves its original cause.
Direct-model Execute commands no longer restrict cwd to the workspace. Absolute
paths, parent-relative paths, and symlinks to external directories are accepted.
The workspace remains the default and relative-path base; Ask stays read-only,
and local execution binding, directory validation, and process cleanup remain.
Add real OpenCode lifecycle and real Shell tool-loop regressions, plus matching
feature documentation. Focused checks: 182 passed, 1 skipped; typecheck and lint
passed. Full shared-worktree suite: 3542 passed, 57 skipped, 1 unrelated sidebar
heading failure, reproduced separately and documented.

Direct model conversations previously stopped after the first transient network error or request timeout, including TLS setup ECONNRESET failures. Text requests now retry up to three times with cancellable backoff before visible output, while partial streamed responses are never replayed.

Direct model conversations can now execute bounded platform-native processes and delegate one level of programming work without duplicating tools in Agent Runtimes. Process and Subagent activity follows existing workspace, mode, approval, cancellation, and lifecycle boundaries, with chat attribution and complete feature documentation.
Remove the static Renderer bundle baseline gate and its build-only manifests; production builds continue to compile all processes and verify the control-plane installer. Also include the pending documentation link normalization.
