Remote semantic events were written with one or two synchronous SQLite transactions each before being forwarded; recoverable conversations also rewrote the whole assistant message per event. Events now commit together at each remote checkpoint (before the Agent can acknowledge), and before non-remote, question and terminal events, on a size cap or a 50 ms timer. Only newly stored events are forwarded, in order; a failed batch rolls back and blocks later commits. Applies to interactive, background and recovery runs.
Configuration apply previously required a separate native confirmation even in Agent Runtime Execute mode, and failed in clients without an approval callback. Use existing work-mode and tool authorization instead, preserving Ask read-only access and request-scoped plan validation. Update regression tests, tool descriptions and documentation.
Validation: 267 focused tests passed; typecheck and changed-file lint passed. Full tests timed out with failures in other modules; repository lint reported errors in unchanged files.

Each source version is extracted once for every review scope; events carry spans and projects from their sources, and attention density is counted from messages. After publication, events are assigned to project features and sub-threads (cross-project stories only when enabled), with user rename, merge, remove, move and undo. The story graph gains a lazily loaded Three.js time-spiral view. Includes the 3D concept demo, real-data DeepSeek check scripts and docs.
Expose save_image across direct model, MCP gateway, DeepSeek Harness and remote Agents (written on the remote host via chunked reads), and show the image MCP tool list in settings.
Heartbeat no longer writes its own report; it triggers the shared incremental review and, per plan intervention, derives evidence-backed suggestions from the review's graph changes. Manual review is incremental by default with explicit reanalysis. The Supervisor tab is renamed Smart heartbeat with heartbeat plans, and the redundant inner plan frame is removed.
- Build runtime history per turn: a cancelled or failed reply keeps its partial
text plus an interruption marker (or a marker-only placeholder), so its user
message is never left unanswered and merged into the next request.

Add a System tasks tab to run history that splits background usage (supervisor, auto-supervision, magic notes, knowledge base, delegation) from conversation usage, with a manual refresh button and automatic refresh when usage is recorded. Record previously dropped usage from supervisor reviews, image regeneration, knowledge graph extraction, and remote embeddings.
Local direct-model text conversations could not use manual context compaction,
and disabling automatic compression prevented saved summaries from being reused.
Restore the composer action regardless of the automatic setting or threshold,
use the selected summary connection, and persist summaries for subsequent

Image connections, remote channel conversations, and SSH projects remain outside

Validation: the full suite recorded 5309 passed, 3 failed and 83 skipped. The ProjectSwitcher initial-focus regression was then fixed, and App, ProjectSwitcher and overlay Electron tests passed all 331 cases. The other two HeartbeatCenter failures were reproduced on isolated HEAD 11facf0 and remain pre-existing. Typecheck and lint passed after the fix; staged whitespace checks passed. The full suite was not rerun after the focused fix.
Limits: Electron evidence is from Windows development runs, with fixtures for unrelated services and native occlusion throttling disabled in some drivers. No production build, packaging, macOS/Linux, remote Agent host or external MCP connection validation; skipped tests and the documented scaling and native-select coverage gaps remain.
Add composer shortcuts for local Continue and OpenCode terminals and the official DeepSeek Harness Web client, using the current project and model bridge. Manage browser service reuse, stop actions and terminal cleanup. Upgrade DeepSeek Harness to 0.1.7-rc.2 and Cordis to 4.0.4.

text appends. Preserve drafts across conversation switches and guard closing,
replacement and disabling. Schema 48 stores optional source metadata without
rewriting file-backed bodies; source deletion retains the saved note. Older
clients cannot reopen an upgraded database without a pre-upgrade backup.

Real Electron App/preload/IPC/SQLite acceptance passed for all 502 historical
messages, exact-entry/source navigation, native keyboard input in a 214px
panel, reopen and source-deletion retention, with zero capture model calls.
Repository lint and web TypeScript passed. Cached whitespace and secret-pattern
checks passed; native-client changes and unrelated IPC extraction are excluded.
Validation limits: the isolated source tree reuses installed node_modules,
where a parallel task upgraded DSH from the committed 0.1.2-rc.1 to 0.1.7-rc.2.
Full typecheck reports 14 DSH errors in three unchanged files; the full-suite
attempt with --bail=1 also fails in deepseek-harness-host.test.ts. These are not
all-green repository or release-package results. Earlier execution-time full

Focused validation passed 690 tests across 35 files, plus notes verification, typecheck, and lint; full CI and native release acceptance remain pending. Remote tasks could leave idle Runtime processes behind, and replaced Agent
installations lacked a drain-and-exit lifecycle. Keep the current Agent
resident, let displaced Agents finish existing work and reconnect for its
results, then retire them without restarting obsolete installations.
Reclaim Runtime processes when their last active task finishes, preserve
pending questions and shared active tasks, and restore conversation history
when the next turn starts. Remove the Remote Projects technical preview label
from settings, errors, tests, and current documentation; the feature remains
disabled by default.
Validation recorded during implementation: 213 lifecycle tests and 28 focused
UI/IPC tests passed, as did SettingsPanel and lint. Linux x64 real-Host checks
used 8 provider requests. Broader tests and final typecheck encountered

Canvas analysis previously sent every page. Add a Magic Notes setting for
1-8 canvas pages, defaulting to 1 for new and historical settings. Select
the first N pages in current canvas order before capture and use the same
text/image range for saved entries, drafts and canvas-source todos.
Keep full 50-page saving/export, expose the same setting through config
tools, and use the shared settings select with an inline help icon.
Include pagination, persistence, production IPC and isolated Electron
regressions, including text-only input and scaled page boundaries.
Validation: focused feature tests and isolated Electron regressions passed;
the final compact UI passed 14 tests. Typecheck and lint were reported
passing by the coordinating agent. No full-suite pass is claimed because
the completed full test command exposed no summary. No live model calls
were made for this commit preparation.

Protect unsaved note bodies and titles during navigation and asynchronous updates. Match canvas analysis to source revisions, invalidate affected comments, preserve annotations during pagination, and provide a resizable record index with saved width preferences.
Existing OCR settings retain local behavior. Historical attachments without saved originals are not reconstructed. Advanced OCR options depend on the configured service; image sending depends on the effective model and Runtime.
Validation: full typecheck and lint passed; 477 focused tests passed across 12 files; staged whitespace checks passed. The full repository suite was not rerun for this commit.

Magic Notes previously supported rich-text records without a paged drawing or
PDF annotation workflow. Add the integrated PeopleLib Fabric and Quill editor
with flowing text, pen/highlighter, object transforms, images, paper templates,
PDF backgrounds with native text extraction, and raster PDF export. Saves are
manual; undo/redo remains scoped to an annotation page or Quill mode.
Analyze drafts, saved canvases and canvas-source todos with page images and
text when the default model supports images, or an explicitly labelled
text-only fallback. Keep successful saves when automatic analysis fails and
prevent MCP plain-text replacement of canvas records.
Move entry bodies and binary assets into local note files with schema 38
migration and verified readback. SQLite retains metadata, indexes, revisions,
todos and comments. Backups must coordinate SQLite and the adjacent notes
directory while writes are paused or the app is closed; no one-click backup
action is included.
Show a continuous record stream with independent collapsible record index and
AI pane, real first-page thumbnails, and scroll-only record navigation. Open a
blank text/canvas composer by default and reset it after creation. Protect
unsaved drafts and establish normalized editor baselines after saving so clean
records do not prompt again when leaving.
Validation: latest recorded focused run passed 149 tests across five files;
typecheck, lint and git diff --check passed. The prior user-reported full run
passed 4,713 tests before later corrections and UI changes; it is not a full
validation of this final snapshot. Tests were not rerun for this commit, as
requested; independent systematic review follows the commit.
Release note: Create paged notes with handwriting, flowing text and PDF
annotations, browse records through thumbnails, and request AI comments with
an explicit text-only fallback. Existing notes migrate to local file storage;
backups now need both the database and notes directory.
Claim idle conversation inputs before publishing queue changes so immediately dispatched messages do not briefly appear as pending. Preserve busy conversation queueing and add a regression assertion for notification ordering.
Validation: 369 focused tests, typecheck, and changed-file lint passed. Full-suite runs timed out with failures in other modules; repository lint reports errors in the existing story-graph demo.

Align remote ACP tool recovery with local runtime behavior when the model responds after a tool failure and completes normally. Preserve original errors and derive recovery state from committed remote events so reconnecting safely replays partial terminal events.
Validation: 461 focused tests, typecheck, lint, and shared Linux Host recovery scenarios passed. Full-suite validation has two pre-existing heartbeat migration fixture failures involving the pinned column.

Restore remote pending questions and terminal task projections across reconnect
and desktop restart, and preserve accepted ordinary requests during settings
replacement while cancelling expert-team parents with their replaced scheduler.

Copied local files previously required the attachment picker. The chat
composer now imports one or more supported files directly from paste,
sharing parsing progress, limits, and batch rollback with file selection.
Text and screenshot paste remain available, and failures preserve drafts.
Validation: prior 166 focused tests, typecheck, and lint passed; 28 targeted
tests passed again before commit. The prior full suite had 4214 passes,
67 skips, and 6 window-recovery failures; window tests passed 10/10 alone.
Native clipboard behavior was verified on Windows; macOS/Linux remain unverified.

Binding checks loaded and parsed every external knowledge binding to answer a
single-row question. requireLibrary did this on more than thirty call sites
including one inside a task reconciliation loop, and the knowledge snapshot
scanned the table twice per library across its seven callers.
Add keyed store lookups (getBinding, hasBinding, getBindingsForInstance) that
use the existing primary key, build the snapshot's bindings once into a Map,
and count bindings per instance in a single pass.
Memoize the conversation activity index in the renderer. It was rebuilt on
every render, including once per streaming token, which discarded half the
benefit of the memoized activity summary directly above it.

Release note: Use external knowledge in conversations, find active work across projects, and answer concurrent local or managed SSH OpenCode questions. Managed SSH questions require the updated Agent adapter.
Allow users to close leased browser tabs without cancelling the AI request or revoking its other tools. Closed-page operations report a recoverable error; explicit navigation creates a dedicated replacement tab for direct-model and MCP calls.
Add regression coverage and real Electron lifecycle checks, and update browser behavior documentation.

Image requests previously sent only the current prompt and attachments, so
follow-up edits could lose the previous image and conversation requirements.
Reuse the latest successful image from the existing artifact store together
with text history, including after reopening the app. Explicit attachments
take priority, and configured model IDs remain unchanged.
When image editing is explicitly unsupported, continue with text-based image
generation and retain a quiet message footer explaining the missing image
context. Keep genuine provider errors and cancellation visible. Add focused
regressions, persisted footer metadata, and aligned feature documentation.
Validated with four real sub-gpt-image-2 image requests and a simulated
unsupported-edit response. Image regressions, typecheck and lint passed;
the full working-tree run had two unrelated concurrent Runtime-menu failures.

Restore Ask workspace reads and output paging without granting write access,
and let programming Subagents reuse their parent's browser page. Allocate
browser resources only when used, keep Agent pages aligned with workbar tabs,
recover released bindings, and remove unused automatic screenshot work.
Preserve inherited Runtime selections during remote usage persistence and
manual compression. Keep viable channel model fallbacks, display the actual
scheduled-task mode and Harness model source, and avoid rediscovery delays
when calling healthy MCP tools. Fix directory/history refresh, case-only
renames, rename-aware commit diffs, and FastGPT probe success reporting.
Add regression coverage and align feature documentation. The Agent-side
connection timeout fix requires deploying an updated Agent; existing Ask
read-only and Execute authorization boundaries remain unchanged.
Final validation: 3839 tests passed, 66 skipped; typecheck, lint, development
build, and diff checks passed. Isolated Electron UI/MCP workflows passed with
a loopback model fixture. Current-source Linux x64 Host checks passed with
three successful real model requests. Chromium loadURL rejection was not
reproduced in the UI; released-binding recovery has automated coverage.

Preserve explicit Runtime model selections and Harness configuration rules without pinning resolved defaults. Expose fixed Runtime models in project settings and keep SSH conversations inheriting their project selection.
Dispatch scheduled instructions through ordinary conversation requests using current history, Runtime, work mode, and knowledge scope. Persist conversation work modes and update scheduling documentation and regression tests.
Validation checkpoint: typecheck, lint, and 104 focused tests passed. The SSH inheritance regression passed in isolation, but its process timed out on exit. Full-suite completion, remaining model documentation review, and real end-to-end validation are still pending.

Users previously had to leave the workbar to manage project files and inspect Git branches or commit history. Add file and directory creation, rename, move, delete and properties, plus searchable branches, branch creation and switching, explicit fetch, and commit file diffs.
Keep file previews in the right workspace pane with directory expansion, selection, scroll and focus preserved on return. Add compact action menus, directory pickers, preview refresh and source switching. Embed the shared browser session directly in the workbar with navigation, resizing and fullscreen controls instead of a separate interaction window.
Moves stay within the current workspace, deletion is permanent after confirmation, and Git switch reports conflicts without discarding or stashing changes. Typecheck, lint and staged whitespace checks pass; existing full-suite failures and the blocked real remote directory validation remain recorded in the workbar progress document.
