Remove Ask/Execute modes and general product tool approvals so requests use the selected runtime, enabled capabilities, and execution account permissions. Migrate retired application metadata while preserving user content.
Retire the Results page while retaining conversation images and stored artifacts. Add local and remote workspace file imports, timestamps and sorting, improve image discovery and saving, and refine workspace navigation and supervision responsiveness. Include the accompanying web-search changes, tests, probes, and product documentation.
Remote imports require an updated Agent. Existing artifacts are not automatically copied into project directories. Validation evidence and outstanding failures remain documented in feature progress files; no full test suite or real-model calls were rerun for this commit.
Release note: Run requests without switching work modes, import files into a selected local or remote workspace folder, sort workspace files by date, and keep using conversation images after removal of the Results page.
The tool environment page always displayed an unverified capability-dependency state even though it had no Skill or MCP evidence behind it. The page now shows only actual interpreter and companion-tool diagnostics; capability dependency status remains reserved for capability details with real validation results.
Release note:
The custom Node.js and Python choices could appear unavailable until a candidate was already discovered, and selecting the source implicitly adopted the first candidate. The chooser now stays operable, waits for an explicit validated path, keeps cancellation quiet, and shows validation errors beside the affected runtime.
Candidate discovery now prioritizes active virtual environments and Conda before bounded user/system PATH and common Node/Python locations, while preserving canonical validation and deduplication.
GoodBuddy can now provide managed Node.js and on-demand Python to local Skills and stdio MCP servers, or validate an explicitly selected custom interpreter. The Capabilities and tools settings page exposes source selection, diagnostics, installation progress, cancellation, and removal while new processes receive immutable PATH snapshots.
Application settings migrate to v10. Local terminal and remote Host environments remain unchanged. Windows x64 native-source Node and Python paths are validated; OSS mirror publication, redistributed license resources, and the remaining native platform probes are recorded as release blockers.
The Skills catalog exposed nine product-marketing recipes as independent
capabilities and enabled every marketing package for every Runtime by default.
It now keeps five top-level Skills, loads the nine recipes on demand through
the product-marketing package, and leaves the three marketing Skills disabled
until users enable them. Existing saved Skill settings remain authoritative.
Skills and MCP previously occupied separate top-level settings categories. They now share one Capabilities and tools category with accessible horizontal tabs, while the unimplemented tool environment remains hidden until its settings are usable.
Prevent nested PageTabs wrappers from collapsing to zero height in scrollable Flex layouts, add a CSS regression guard, and document the shared rule plus the planned local Node.js and Python environment.
Define repository and feature-scoped documentation rules for PRDs, User Stories, logic, UI, technical design, and progress evidence.
Move feature-owned documents under docs/features, add one entry point per feature, remove the redundant docs index, and update all affected cross-references. Expand the local tool environment design with explicit product, story, logic, UI, technical, and progress documents.
